Independent practice
A consulting practice, not a platform. You work directly with the engineer doing the work.
About
This practice is run by Miguel Vieira, an Unreal Engine engineer who still ships games. Portugal-based, serving EU and international clients. The reason to trust the AI advice is the gamedev experience behind it.
Why this focus
Game engineering has its own realities: Unreal, C++, Perforce, console SDKs, licensed IP, and the pressure of a ship date. Most AI consultants have never touched any of it. They bring a framework built for web startups and hope it maps.
It does not map. AI properly integrated is genuinely transformative for gamedev, but only when the person integrating it understands the engine, the workflow, and what a senior engineer actually protects. That is the gap this practice exists to close.
How this works commercially
01
A consulting practice, not a platform. You work directly with the engineer doing the work.
02
No investors, no pressure to grow at all costs. That means honest advice, including "not yet" or "not us".
03
We work with the AI stack your studio prefers, Claude, GPT, Gemini, or open weights. We advise on the trade-offs; we do not resell any vendor.
04
Clear about what we do not do and when to refer you elsewhere. Credibility over closed deals.
Operating principles
01
If AI will not pay back for your studio yet, we say so. A wrong-fit engagement helps no one.
02
We build infrastructure that holds up under a real codebase, not demos that impress and then rot.
03
Everything is baselined and re-measured. If we cannot prove it moved, we do not claim it.
04
The value compounds over years. We optimize for studios that stay, not one-off sales.
No account managers, no handoffs. A Discovery Call is a conversation with the person who would do the work. 30 minutes, free.
